Jeanette Palmer has over thirty years of teaching experience in the field of movement, dance and fitness. Ballet trained at Walnut Hill School of the Performing Arts and the Boston Conservatory of Music, Jeanette has had a distinguished performing career, including the Broadway theatre, New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, and Radio City Music Hall.
Jeanette found her way to Pilates when chronic pain threatened to bring her performing career to a premature end. Through Pilates (and stretching) she was rehabilitated and continued to dance professionally for another 13 years. (Given her triumph over her injuries and her lifelong passion for movement and dance, becoming a certified Pilates teacher was the logical next step.)
Ms. Palmer is on the adjunct faculty of the Graduate Center at CUNY, is the Pilates instructor to the Women’s Swim Team at Columbia University, has been teaching pilates for over at eleven years at Body Strength and the New Dance Group. She has also been invited by the Cirque du Soleil to teach Pilates workshops to their “Quidam” company in Philadelphia. Jeanette also has a thriving private practice working with clients in their own homes, many of whom have physical challenges and limitations, requiring unique, personalized programming.
Originally certified in Pilates through IMX in the mid 90’s, Jeanette discovered the LindaFit program in 2004. She was so pleased with the program she asked Linda Farrell if she could assist at a future training and five years later is the senior teaching assistant for LindaFit.
Jenn Seracuse attended the November 2008 training and was officially certified in May of 2009 and is now the Director of Pilates at FLEX Studios.
Jenn trains a wide range of clients from top models, like Victoria's Secret Super Model Alessandra Ambrosio and Sports Illustrated swimsuit models Kate Bock and Lauren Mellor; to professional athletes like Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers. I can't say enough about Linda Farrell or her mat certification program. I chose her program because two teachers I respected and admired- and who inspired me to teach myself- had gotten their mat certifications through LindaFit. I took a few classes from Linda and knew right away that I wanted to learn to teach from her. I am so glad I did! The sizes of the trainings are small, enabling Linda to provide each aspiring teacher with more than enough individual attention. With Linda you are not just a number but a name and face. The main factors that caught my attention right away was the weekend format and the affordability. I had researched various programs earlier but was discouraged by their cost. Once I started the program, I realized that the program’s main asset was Linda herself; she instantly made everyone feel comfortable, and her knowledge about teaching techniques and human anatomy amazed me. I can’t recommend the LindaFit mat certification program enough. Holly Hilt has been a student of pilates for over ten years. She was first introduced to the practice while in college at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Holly came to find the true benefit of pilates while rehabilitating a major rotator cuff injury. Unable to dance or play tennis, she found pilates allowed her to continue her active lifestyle. Upon graduation, Holly moved to New York City and began intense private training with Aimee Savage of Aimee Pilates located in the Upper East Side. In 2006, Holly began studying pilates mat under Linda Farrell. She fell in love with Linda’s teaching methods and soon thereafter, became a certified LindaFit pilates mat instructor. Holly’s mat classes incorporate classical pilates with a modern twist. Her mat classes include the use of props, which allows one to mirror exercises on the mat that would be performed on the pilates apparatuses, such as the reformer, cadillac or barrel. Victoria Wasserman has been a student of pilates since 2006. She studied mat pilates under Jeanette Palmer and attended
the LindaFit pilates certification program in July of 2009. She has a strong background in anatomy which she studied for
eight years under the well known anatomist and artist Michael Burban at The Arts Students League in New York City.

Lauren Valentine started Pilates while achieving her BFA at the Ohio State University. Incorporating Pilates in her training added longevity to her dance career and ultimately her daily life. While dancing in New York City, she attended Jeanette Palmer’s mat class and was introduced to Linda Farrell and the LindaFit certification in 2006. Lauren soon developed a passion to teach and help others reach their full potential. Continuing her Pilates education, Lauren received certification for the apparatus through the Pilates Academy International and became a certifying member of their staff at Pilates on Fifth. While living in NYC, Lauren used her Linda Fit mat certification to teach in numerous gyms, Pilates studios and apartment buildings. Currently, Lauren lives in Los Angeles and continues to teach both privates and group classes at Align and Define in Toluca Lake.

Gisele Assi was born in Sao Paulo Brazil has studied Ballet, Modern and Flamenco dance for 20 years. In 1993 in Sao Paulo studied Basic Anatomy, stretching and gymnastics. Gisele worked as a personal trainer and had her own Dance and workout studio in Sao Paulo for five years before moving to New York in 1999. In New York, Gisele study Pilates mat technique for 8 years with Linda Farrell. In 2008 got certified as Pilates mat teacher for beginner intermediate levels, and the Pilates Mini Ball. Since than Gisele has been teaching Pilates independently at Flamenco Latino, and Roy Arias studios.
Stephanie Meade has been a professional dancer for over 13 years. She started practicing pilates very early in her career, at the advice of physical therapists, in order to heal from dance injuries and to prevent further ones. Over the years she has come to see the many benefits that practicing pilates provides including, relief from back pain and muscular weakness. She became certified to teach through the LindaFit Pilates Mat certification program in 2006 so that she could share this very important practice with others. Stephanie has been teaching both group fitness classes and private sessions for the last five years at gyms such as Club H and through residential fitness programs created by LindaFit. She believes in strengthening safely and is very sensitive to those recovering from injuries.
Shannon O’Sullivan attended the January – February 2010 training session and was officially certified in May of 2010. She currently teaches group mat classes at in Chelsea and subs at Body Strength Fitness and at other studios around the city. Jenna Muller has been dancing since the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since! She’s studied all forms of dance- ballet, jazz, tap and modern, which ignited a lifelong love of dance and fitness. She discovered pilates while performing in the Long Island Ballet Theatre, to help strengthen her body and prevent injuries. Jenna received her mat pilates certification by LindaFit in April 2010. Born in Italy and living now in Switzerland, Paola Terribilini has been involved in fitness for over 20 years.
She has taught many disciplines including, Powerstrike Kickboxing and Impact, and Body Conditioning and has owned a fitness and dance studio, An encounter with Linda Farrell during a trip to New York in 2001 peaked her interest in becoming a Pilates Mat Teacher and she was certified through the LindaFit Pilates Mat Certification program a year later. Paola has also studied at the CovaTech Pilates School in Milan receiving further training on the pilates equipment. Paola's love for Modern Dance which she has practiced and taught for many years sparked her interest in the fluid core based Pilates method. She has also participated in various training and continuing education courses in the field of fitness, dance and Pilates. Every August, she goes to New York for a month where she continues to study with acclaimed international teachers to sharpen and perfect her technique and teaching. Paola has appeared on national TV in many sports and fitness programs and was a consultant for the Associazione Cantonale Ticinese of Physical Education (ACTG) and for various sport clubs. Stephanie Petruccio ~ "My love for Pilates started when I took a few classes in college (The University of the Arts) as a modern dance major, but grew even more once I started taking Linda's classes at Broadway Dance Center. Elizabeth Jones is a dancer, choreographer, Pilates instructor, and fitness enthusiast. She received her mat training under LindaFit Pilates and continues to study with Linda to this day. Her current Pilates employments in the city include: PPW New York, Ludlow Fitness, and guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center. She has produced dance and theatrical work for Roberto Cavalli, Pepsi Co., BCBS, Heineken USA, Caesars in Atlantic City, Carnival Choreographer's Ball, and Broadway at Birdland with Diana DeGarmo. Her credits as a performer include: Madonna's "Give Me All You're Luvin" music video, XBox, Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, Kaskade at Roseland Ballroom, Dance War on ABC, Dos Equis present "The Most Interesting Show in the World", and more. She is currently in pre-production as the contemporary choreographer for a new book musical entitled "Enduring Love". She is also currently in training to compliment her love for Pilates with a new spin program coming to NY in December/January.
Andrea Lanzetti has been dancing since the early age of six. She went on to study dance at DeSales University and earned her degree in 2010. Dancing professionally has made Andrea extremely aware of the body and all that goes into treating it with care. After discovering her passion for Pilates, she went on to receive her certification through LindaFit in 2012. Her mat class is designed to help the individual find their own personal balance of strength, flexibility, breath, and body awareness. Her teaching style stems from the classical Pilates method, the way Joe Pilates intended, while adding modern variations to please the needs of her clients. Providing a challenging, yet well balanced experience for the body and mind is what she hopes to provide for all of her clients.
Linda has provided Andrea with all the necessary tools in order to become a successful Pilates instructor. Stephanie Brooks is a professional dancer, fitness enthusiast, and advocate for the American Heart Association. She is passionate about helping people live a healthy lifestyle and has taught fitness and dance for over 10 years. Stephanie holds a BFA in Dance and a minor in Family Studies and Human Development. At the University of Arizona, Stephanie studied mat, spine corrector, and reformer for 4 years under master teachers, including Ron Fletcher. She took the Ron Fletcher teacher-training course, and then continued her Pilates journey when she moved to NYC, under Linda Farrell, with LindaFIT Pilates. Stephanie has been a teaching artist and fitness instructor at the 92nd St Y, Westside YMCA, Ballet Academy East, and Broadway Dance Center. She is also the Co-Founder of ALMA NYC Dance Company and is certified in Zumba, AFFA Group Fitness, and The M.E.L.T. Method®. Mary Sherwin received her BA degrees in Communications and Dance from the University of Washington and continued on to receive her MA in Choreography from Middlesex University in London, UK. She initially fell in love with Pilates during her rehabilitation from a dance injury and enjoyed how the discipline affected her entire well being. She completed the program October 2012 and currently teaches at Tone Pilates in Astoria. Elna Maria Dahlsjo was born in Sweden. She fell in love with movement at the age of 11 when she took her first dance class and has been dancing ever since. She studied jazz and ballet in Sweden, Ireland and New York. Elna attended the May-June LindaFit Pilates Mat Certification program and assisted Linda at the August Dance Teacher Summit in 2014. She completed her pilates mat certification requirements in Aug 2014, moved back to Sweden and is currently teaching dance and Pilates at Classic Pilates Studio and Forum Gym in Sweden.

Jen Pagoto has been an occupational therapist for twenty years. She works with many clients who exhibit poor core strength and various attention deficits. Tara Shea has a BA in Communications and Theater Design from Hunter College. She had a successful career in the Fashion Industry and in past few years decided to pursue an alternate career path.
After years of high impact workouts she moved on to Yoga as a form of exercise and a stress relief. A few years ago after a knee injury she discovered Pilates as a wonderful strengthing tool for her body.

Amani Hafez took Linda Farrell's, LindaFit Pilates Mat Certification in 2013. Amani was so impressed with the program that she continued to study with Linda, and has become Linda Farrell's official, authorized representative for teaching her pilates mat certification course in Egypt.
Amani Hafez has also been certified by AFFA and ACE as a GFI (general fitness instructor). She has been teaching since 1987, later becoming the Reebok fitness consultant in Egypt, through which she had the chance of becoming an instructor trainer in Slide Reebok in Spain. Over the years she has been able to enrich her experience by attending many conventions in Europe, exposing her to top presenters; Jin Miller's master step class (the creator of step) and Jay Blahnik's Dynamic stretching workshop. Having the opportunity to attend many Pilates workshops also allowed her to inject her own mat classes with not just the classical mat work but much more. She created her own combination of pilates, yoga and dance called Piiloga, in her fitness studio, Body Works. Pilates seems to have become her obsession in the past 10 years, which made her pursue many certifications: Pilates mat certification by NESTA, Pilates Ball by ACE and finally Linda Farrell's, LindaFit Pilates Mat Certification.
Among other certifications are spinning, Zumba, TRX and the Les Mills Body Pump and Body Attack programs. Amani is owner and instructor trainer in Body Works Fitness Studio that has been operating since 1999. Amani's goal is to continue to grow as an educator to share the wealth of knowledge she has acquired in her years of teaching.
Originally from Texas Meghan Robertson grew up studying and teaching dance in her hometown of Burnet. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Theater from the University of Texas she bravely packed her bags and headed for the big apple. It was there that her already existing love for Pilates grew. After completing the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center, Meghan went on to receive her certification from LindaFit Pilates in 2014. She now teaches classes in New York at both private and public clubs including Boom Fitness and The Colony Club. She also gives private, duet, and small group lessons as well. She believes in executing each exercise safely and efficiently giving her students motivation and anatomical education along the way.
I first met Linda while taking her Pilates class at Broadway Dance Center. Jana Sanford - After practicing Pilates for over 10 years and doing resistance and cardio training for over 20, I left my Corporate career to pursue my passion for health and fitness and helping others achieve their goals. As a business woman and former consultant who lived on the road 4-5 days a week, I am focused on providing fitness solutions for corporate wellness programs and highly time constrained individuals (professionals, frequent travelers, new mothers, etc.) who are particularly challenged to maintain fitness routines due to their demanding schedules. I also emphasize exercises that are easily portable, meaning they don’t require big or heavy equipment or a lot of space, so can be done almost anywhere, anytime. As a biomedical engineer and a sports enthusiast, I have a strong interest in the biomechanics of exercise and sports activities including golf, tennis, running and skiing in particular.
Linda Farrell's Pilates certification program provided me with all the knowledge and tools to become a top notch instructor. Her knowledge of anatomy and practical method of teaching it are unprecedented and provide a solid foundation for her students to build their Pilates practices. Because she works in small groups, her program offers the opportunity to get personalized input and lots of hands on interactive experience. Felicia Terlecki is new to teaching pilates but has been taking pilates classes for over twenty years. She has danced with New York Theatre Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, Princeton Ballet and Hamilton Ballet Theatre and now has a not for profit called Live Dance Live. These years of dancing have given her great insight of how the body works, which has been an easy transfer to Pilates. Pilates gives you core strength, greater flexibility, muscle tone, relief of back and joint pain, more energy, weight loss and just a happier you! I am looking forward to expanding my horizons into the pilates world. Currently I am teaching private lessons and group classes. Kate Zak - I started to train Pilates before coming to Broadway Dance Center but it wasn't till I met Linda that I developed a deeper understanding of Pilates.
I have taken her classes on a regular basis since 2010 while being a student at Broadway Dance Center. I got my LindaFit Pilates Mat Certification in 2014 and started to teach shortly after at a gym and a yoga studio. I love to push the limits and use props such as fitness balls and it makes me so happy walking out feeling I gave my students my best. I want the students to feel joy, to improve, to develop a sense of alignment all with an easy breath when walking out of my class. I want them to feel that they got the challenge they needed. Because it's through challenges that we grow. No limits. I cant thank Linda enough for the knowledge she has passed on and the belief she had in me.
